Times Change Women's Employment Service offers a wide variety of services and workshops to help women reach their career and employment goals:

 

Getting Started Workshop

This orientation session provides details about all of the services offered at Times Change and includes an in-depth tour of  the Resource Centre.  New clients are able to identify which Times Change programs best meet their employment needs.   Click here for details...

Career Planning Workshop

This interactive workshop is designed for women who are unclear about their career direction or are thinking of making a career change. Participants have an opportunity to discover their career direction through a series of self-assessments and receive follow-up one-on-one counselling.

Our Job Developer assists unemployed clients by providing job placement opportunities through employer and business connections.

Educational Counselling

Educational Counselling is offered for clients looking for a specific training program. The individual appointment will identify which programs exist, their availability and location, and can determine possible funding or loan opportunities.  Click here for details...

Self-serve Computer Services

Eight computers and one Macintosh, with up-to-date programs and software tutorials, are available for clients to update their resumes, check job posting sites or upgrade their computer skills.  Click here for details...

Introductory Computer Workshops

Introductory computer workshops are available for clients to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and the Internet and email for job search purposes. These popular, hands-on and instructor-led sessions are provided in small groups at different times of the month.  Click here for details...

Resource Centre

The Resource Centre provides a comprehensive collection of materials related to occupations, job searching, training, the labour market, employers and issues concerning workers. Internet access, along with telephones, DVD player, a photocopier and fax machine, are provided free of charge for client use.

Self-Employment Workshop

This workshop provides guidance for those who are (or wish to be) solo-entrepreneurs and other small business owners. In a confidential and supportive environment, this workshop will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to succeed.
