Job Matching and Placement

Finding and keeping a job can be a difficult task. Times Change offers Job Matching and Placement services for women looking to re-enter the workforce who are having difficulties due to barriers to employment.

Employment Counsellors work closely with clients through an integrated and comprehensive approach in order to prepare you for employment. Our Job Developer works with you to match your employment skills to employer opportunities available.

What we offer:

Our Job Matching and Placement program offers:

• Subsidized on-the-job training and/or direct employment placement.
• Employment preparation including interview techniques and resume writing.
• Access to individual employment counselling.
• Referrals to job leads and access to job postings.
• Apprenticeship opportunities.
• Access to employment supports if eligible.
• Continuous on-the-job support and job retention services.

What you need to know:

• The Program is open to women who are experiencing barriers to employment.
• It is strongly advised to attend our Job Search Workshop and be working actively with an Employment Counsellor.

Who is eligible:

• The Job Matching and Placement services are open to women who are unemployed or working less than an average of 20 hours per week.
• Women with barriers to employment.

How to register:

• Clients selected for the Job Matching and Placement program have skills reflecting current employer needs but face multiple barriers to employment. They may have already participated in the Job Search workshop and are currently working with an employment counsellor. For details contact
