Job Search Workshop
The Job Search Workshop is designed for
women who know what kind of work they're looking for and have the skills
necessary for that specific field of work.
During this four-morning workshop, participants will learn how to:

Look for work using successful job search strategies
- Write effective, targeted cover letters and resumes
- Access information and research potential
employers
- Handle challenging interview questions
- Develop a network and gain potential contacts
for employment
- Create
a voice mail or telephone script
- Explore ways to use social media for job searching
- Cope with the stress of looking for work
What you need to know:

The Job Search Workshop meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., all within one week.

Pre-registration is required.
- Individual counselling is offered as a follow-up service
to this workshop.
- All of our services are free of charge.

Who is eligible:

This service is open to women who are unemployed or working less
than an average of 20 hours per week.
