Taking Steps for Women’s Services![]() Times Change Women’s Employment Service’s new Intake/Outreach Coordinator Katie Didyk, participated in United Way CN Tower Stair Climb on Saturday October 13th raising over $100 dollars. The 30th annual event attracted over 11,000 brave participants from various organizations and helped raise much needed funds to support more than 200 health and social service agencies in Toronto and the GTA. Katie says she did not prepare intentionally for the 1,776 steps to the top, but rather relied on her regular running routine and sheer adrenalin to propel her to the top. “The energy and number of people who showed their spirit to contribute to a good cause was motivation enough for me to finish”. Times Change staff all contributed to Katie’s efforts, and were thrilled at her finishing time of 20 minutes and 23 seconds. Katie has announced her goal to beat her time next year, to support the United Way and raise awareness about Times Change in the community.
