Times Change hosts BMO corporate volunteers
for United Way's Day's of Caring
Times Change welcomed employees from the Bank of Montreal (BMO) in an interactive panel discussion on job search strategies for Times Change and Office Workers Career Centre clients on Wednesday October 28th, 2009.
The event was organized through United Way's 'Days of Caring', a partnership between United Way, community agencies and employee groups wanting to provide a 'hands-on' day, where employees complete various projects for charitable or non-profit organizations.

The 6 enthusiastic panelists openly discussed their own challenges while job searching and shared strategies that helped them achieve their current and previous employment.
From sound advice such as 'ask detailed and specific industry questions' in an interview and 'find a way to connect with someone in the organization', two common themes were emphasized throughout the 2 hour networking session: you must have patience and persistence in order to achieve your job search goals.
Times Change would like to thank BMO for their impressive and interactive panelists, and our participants who attended the event.
